BRAND NEW COMPETITION!!! We are proud to announce the introduction of the "AMERICAN TRAIL HORSE COMPETITION". This a event that puts you and your equine on the trail one at a time starting with you in western attire , your horse in halter and saddle. When the whistle blows your time starts with you bridling your horse mounting your horse turning one circle and off to the trail which is between 1/2 to 1 mile in length. You may encounter a water crossing, a hill, logs, ditches, mud, or whatever else nature may put in front of you. You will wind it all up by crossing the line, turning one circle, dismounting, remove your saddle and time!!. Best time wins !!! Stay tuned for more details and our first date.
Midwest Extreme Cowboy Club will be holding clinics and course ride days at the Windy Acres Ranch in Fort Branch, Indiana starting on Sundays at 8:00am, August 23rd, 2009 will be our first Ride day.Please call (812) 215-0323 to schedule your ride. Bring your horse and come join the excitement and see first hand what Extreme Cowboy Racing is all about.
The Next Extreme Cowboy Race is the MidWest Regional Championship on Saturday, October 10th, 2009. Racing will start at 8:00am with a course walk, race briefing, and start drawing @ 7:15am. This is a 2 round event. Points are Quadruple. We will offer free camping to competitor's and there families and horses. Please call ahead to let us know you are coming Friday nite. There will also be a consession stand with plenty to eat and drink. Be ready to cowboy up and roll at your start time !!!
This a sanctioned and registered event of the Extreme Cowboy Association. All rules, points, and national rankings apply.
Entry fee for Open, Non-Pro, and Ride Smart is $100.00 per horse, with $40.00 for youth and $60.00 for novice divisions. There is a maximum of two horses per rider. Cash prizes entered in all classes except youth.Trophies awarded to Young guns and Youth Divisions.
